Dunlap Codding Adds Three Lawyers

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK--(Marketwire - February 17, 2009) - Dunlap Codding recently added two associates, John Behles and Joseph D. Maxey, and added Charles "Chic" Krukiel of counsel. Behles focuses his practice on patent law, prosecuting patents before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He has prosecuted patent applications in the U.S. and abroad in the mechanical, software and business method arts including numerous mechanical devices for food service, medical, and sporting goods industries, as well as software programs and business methods. Behles graduated from the University of Tulsa with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and also from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2004, serving as a founding member of The Information Technology Society.

Maxey drafts and prosecutes patent applications in the electrical and mechanical arts. A recent graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Law, Maxey earned his B.S. in Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology, cum laude, from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2005. Prior to law school, Maxey served on active duty in the United States Air Force, completing a 20-year career in 2007. His military career focused primarily on the areas of communications and computer systems.

Krukiel practices in the areas of intellectual property, technology licensing, and patent law and is involved in counseling and transactional work in all aspects of U.S. and foreign intellectual property. Krukiel is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He has counseled clients in all aspects of U.S. and foreign intellectual property matters, including acquisition and commercialization of intellectual property; portfolio management; and licensing and transactional matters. His practice is focused primarily in the chemical and mechanical arts. Prior to joining Dunlap Codding, Krukiel was Assistant General Counsel and Chief IP Counsel for INVISTA S.a.r.l., the world's largest integrated fiber, resin and intermediates company that serves the apparel, interiors, intermediates, performance fibers, and polymers & resins industries in more than 30 countries.
