Dynamic Media Holdings, Inc. Announces an Expansion to National Consumer Products and Sales
MANALAPAN, NJ--(Marketwire - March 18, 2008) - Dynamic Media Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: DYMH) is pleased to announce it has developed an exciting new
over-the-counter product that will be targeted to men with male pattern
baldness or thin and thinning hair. Says CEO Bruce Schoengood, "We are
delighted to be entering this vast market with a unique new product. Men
who suffer from hair loss are very concerned about their appearance as well
as their wellbeing. Our new product, which will be launched under the
banner Dynamic Hair Products, will address both." Continues Schoengood,
"What we want to do is carve out a niche in this tremendous billion dollar
consumer universe and we feel our product will be very appealing and
practical to millions of balding men." The product, which will be
officially announced next week, will have a version that will be marketed
for women as well. Working closely with an established laboratory that
develops consumer products, Dynamic Hair Products plans to solicit the
product for nationwide distribution. The product, says Schoengood, "has a
very strong marketing approach that we feel will strongly resonate with
consumers." Dynamic Hair Products hopes to have its products on sale in
drug stores, supermarkets, major chains and all stores that carry hair
related products.
Male pattern hair loss is the most common form of hair loss, representing
close to 94% of all hair loss in men. And about half of all men experience
this common hair loss by age 50. If you are a man between the ages of about
20 to 50 and you start to lose hair, then the chances are 95 per cent
certain that you are experiencing male pattern baldness. As the term
suggests, male pattern baldness follows a typical sequence or pattern. Hair
loss can start in different areas but is usually at the temples and/or on
the crown of the head. Initial thinning of hair progresses over a number of
years and may lead to total baldness but more typically loss of hair over
the top surface of the head. By age 35, two-thirds of American men will
have some degree of appreciable hair loss and by age 50 approximately 84%
of men have significantly thinning hair. About 26% of men who suffer from
male pattern baldness begin the painful process before they reach the age
of 21.
