E-Commerce Health Up 6% in February

6% Increase Despite Flat Revenues From Year Ago

REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwire - March 10, 2011) - MyBuys, the leading provider of personalization for multi-channel retailers, direct brands, and digital agencies, today released the February 2011 edition of the MyBuys E-commerce Wellness Index™. The index measures the overall health of U.S. e-commerce and tracks key trends among retailers. Total revenue for U.S. e-commerce fell 0.2% versus the same period last year but the very important metric of revenue from full-priced item sales continues to grow, increasing 7.3% during the month of February. This increase led to healthier margins and drove the index up 6% compared to the same month one year ago. Industry health improvements are also attributed to a 29% decrease in the number of orders with promoted items present.
