E-Discovery Day on December 1st to Celebrate E-Discovery's Vital and Growing Role in the Legal Process

Taking Place December 1, E-Discovery Day Is Full of Educational Webcasts, Covering a Variety of e-discovery Topics

PORTLAND, OR--(Marketwired - November 04, 2015) - Exterro® Inc., the preferred provider of software specifically designed for in-house legal and IT teams at Global 2000 organizations, in partnership with Today's General Counsel, EDRM, and Actiance, today announced the full details of E-Discovery Day on December 1st. E-Discovery Day, launched as an industry wide initiative aimed at promoting e-discovery awareness and education, will be filled with a variety of webcasts covering the latest in e-discovery trends, best practices, and relevant topics. These webcasts will bring together a diverse line up of professionals, including many well-known e-discovery industry thought leaders.

E-Discovery Day Panelist, Attorney, and E-Discovery Blogger Craig Ball sums up his excitement for E-Discovery Day: "When I was little, I asked my mother, 'Mom, there's a Mother's Day and a Father's Day. When is Children's Day?' Like every parent, she replied, 'Every day is Children's Day.' To me, every day is E-Discovery Day; but, now the world will know when to hang the e-discovery stockings and serve the e-discovery wassail!"

Fellow E-Discovery Day Panelist, Attorney, and Blogger Ralph Losey notes, "It is important to remind all attorneys of the significance of electronic discovery and the timely preservation of electronic evidence. Almost all documents today are electronic, and if relevant, will be part of any litigation. Lawyers and Law Departments need to master this subject to adequately represent their clients. This means constant education, which this program should assist."

E-Discovery Day Events

E-Discovery Day will include seven different webcasts covering topics ranging from e-discovery case law, social media, and FRCP revisions. Many of the scheduled webcasts offer CLE credit. Webcast speakers come from a variety of backgrounds, including two judges, multiple attorneys, and many influencers in the e-discovery industry.
