E la Carte Selected as a Technology Partner to Enhance Johnny Rockets Guest Experience and Increase Table Turn Times

Silicon Valley-Based Technology Company Will Install Its Tablets in Johnny Rockets Restaurants Nationwide

REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 15, 2014) - E la Carte, the leaders in Smart Dining and creators of the Presto® Platform for restaurants, today announced its plans to rollout its guest-facing tablets with Johnny Rockets, a global restaurant chain operating more than 300 locations worldwide. After a three-month pilot testing several competitive solutions, Johnny Rockets saw the best results from the Presto Platform, with better guest satisfaction and engagement ratings to increased table turn times. The Johnny Rockets executive team also selected E la Carte as a technology partner because of Presto's seamless integration and flexible platform.

E la Carte will begin installing the Presto Platform starting in November 2014 to more than 200 locations nationwide in the United States. To respond to the changing technology palates of their guests, and improve the guest experience, Johnny Rockets chose to replace their original tabletop jukeboxes with the Presto tablet. E la Carte offers a flexible platform and worked closely with the Johnny Rockets executive team to provide a modern jukebox solution.

"Johnny Rockets is always seeking new ways to give our guests options and improve their overall dining experience," said John Fuller, President and CEO of Johnny Rockets. "In our quest to provide tabletop ordering and payment options, it has been imperative that we work with a team that understands the importance of providing the stellar level of customer service our guests are accustomed to. We believe the E la Carte solution enhances our servers' relationships with guests, instead of replaces them."

A goal for Johnny Rockets was to provide guests with a flexible and simple payment method. The Presto Platform puts control in the guests' hands, from the way they order food to how they pay their bill. During the pilot, the Johnny Rockets executive team saw an 11.2 percent improvement in table turn time.

"We are thrilled to partner with Johnny Rockets to bring Smart Dining to their restaurants. We both have world class teams that are aligned in our commitment to give guests a memorable and enjoyable dining experience," said Rajat Suri, Founder and CEO of E la Carte. "Johnny Rockets is a forward thinking organization, and we look forward to the opportunity to deliver exciting technology solutions for their brand, their staff and their guests."

"From day one of our evaluation of tabletop technology providers, E la Carte stood out among the competition, offering the best combination of technology, innovation, project management and strategic value," said Novell Morris, Vice President of Information Technology at Johnny Rockets. "In a comprehensive test to determine which one would work best with our brand's needs, E la Carte demonstrated both an ability and willingness to innovate on-demand, responding to our needs on multiple levels. Along with great food and an all-American ambiance, entertainment and fun help to form the core of the Johnny Rockets Experience; E la Carte has helped us to weave together a solution that modernizes and maximizes our experience, while increasing table turns and improving guest satisfaction."
