eHydrogen Solutions Technology Validated by Okayama University Study; Beijing University Study Republished

RENO, NV--(Marketwire - February 12, 2010) -   eHydrogen Solutions, Inc. (eHS) (PINKSHEETS: EHYD) cites a study by researchers from the Okayama University as further validation of its proprietary Hydrogen Enhanced Combustion technologies. A paper on their work was published in the January 2010 issue of International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, "An experimental investigation on engine performance and emissions of a supercharged H2-diesel dual-fuel engine." This study investigated the engine performance and emissions of a supercharged engine fueled by hydrogen and ignited by a pilot amount of diesel fuel in dual-fuel mode. The results confirmed that a higher amount of energy could be supplied from hydrogen enhancement without knocking, and about 13% higher IMEP (Indicated Mean Effective Pressure) was produced than without charge dilution; resulting in more power with less emissions.

As previously announced by the Company, the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, the journal of the International Association for Hydrogen Energy, also published this year the recent finings of the Beijing University of Technology, which proved that increasing levels of hydrogen enrichment of a gasoline fuel charge in a spark-ignited (SI) engine can increase engine-indicated thermal efficiency and emissions at idle and extend the lean-burn limit.
