Eagle Broadband to Present at Micro Cap Event in New York

LEAGUE CITY, TEXAS -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 2, 2006 -- Eagle Broadband, Inc. (AMEX: EAG), a national provider of broadband, Internet protocol (IP) and communications technology and services, will be a featured presenter at the Micro Cap 2006 Conference, taking place May 3 in New York City.

Dave Micek, Eagle Broadband's president and chief executive officer, will introduce the company to a select group of Micro Cap publicly traded companies. He will explain the company's primary business line, which includes products and services for TV over the Internet (IPTV/STB), for satellite telephony (SatMAX) and fiber communication systems. In addition, Micek will outline current operations and define future prospects.
