EarthFirst Discusses Its Latest News and Revolutionary CAVD Technology in a Live MN1 Interview Thursday, September 20, 11:45 am CDT

TAMPA, FL--(Marketwire - September 20, 2007) - EarthFirst Technologies Inc. (OTCBB: EFTI) division Senior Vice President Nick Massari will be featured live on Market News First ( for an exclusive interview with Saul Albom. The interview is scheduled for Thursday, September 20, 2007, at 11:45 a.m. CDT.

The interview will focus yesterday's landmark announcement by the Company that it has executed a Memorandum of Understanding for the delivery of ten of its Catalytic Activated Vacuum Distillation (CAVD) plants to Phoenix Energy Systems for installation in the Carribean Basin and the EU.

Since 1971, researchers and U.S. companies have been experimenting with pyrolysis as a way to deconstruct tires and other waste streams and convert them to energy or useful by-products. Pyrolysis is a system for chemical decomposition of organic materials by heating in the absence of oxygen or any other reagents. With more than 285 million tires tossed into landfills each year, if perfected, pyrolysis solves one of the major waste and environmental problems facing the US. Most pyrolysis efforts failed to produce valuable by-products.

According to EarthFirst, their proprietary system which has already successfully processed over 1,000,000 pounds of tires into useable syngas, oil, carbon black and steel has met the challenge and can produce commodity grade by-products. The Company says these products are produced in a certified emissionless system that uses only 5% of the energy and creates only 5% of the carbon dioxide of conventional production methods.

Join Massari as he highlights the innovative uses for raw materials and the race to alternative power sources to head off global warming and provide other environmental benefits while creating strong economic opportunities for investors.

EarthFirst has additional technologies for the treatment of liquid and solid waste, and is a provider of electrical contracting services with international reach. EarthFirst operates in Tampa, Fla., Mobile, Ala. and Channahon, Ill.

Meet Massari as he joins to discuss the latest in greenhouse gas reduction technologies and the alternative fuel industry and how EarthFirst has positioned itself as a competitive, innovative player in a growing industry by logging on to Thursday, September 20, 2007.
