A recent article from The Wall Street Journal outlined 'Heists Targeting Truckers On Rise.' Robberies Are "Wreaking Havoc" on U.S. Highways, Endangering Consumers. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704722304575037241392821742.html?mod=WSJ_hpp_MIDDLETopStories

This is more confirmation that cargo theft is a growing problem, a problem we feel EarthSearch has the solution for, through its GPS/RFID LogiBoxx system.

Our proprietary RFID technology alerts the GPS of anomalies, which immediately alert shippers if any of the cargo, or shipping containers, are tampered with or accessed anywhere in the entire supply-chain, in real-time.

A lot of cargo solutions on the market are rarely based on prevention but rather on recovery. The development of wireless communication between GPS and RFID according to the CEO of ECDC changes that, and can enhance prevention and recovery of stolen assets.

Kayode Aladesuyi, the CEO of ECDC commented, "The ability to monitor cargo shipments while in-transit, at item or pallet level using integrated GPS/RFID solution means information about any anomalies around the cargo can be delivered to appropriate security teams or local authorities within minutes. Time is a critical element in prevention and recovery of stolen cargo that's where our technology makes the difference. Our LogiBoxx offers various application of the technology to satisfy different cargo security needs, whether to track a trailer or cargo independent of the truck using our solar powered solution or knowing when a trailer has been disconnected from the truck, in some cases we will provide individual covert cargo tracking if that's what's needed by the client. Our LogiBoxx system is designed exactly for cargo security."
