EAS Genesis Fund Earns Endorsements

WESTON, FL--(Marketwire - May 2, 2011) - Emerald Asset Advisors, LLC (www.EASfunds.com) is pleased to announce that its EAS Genesis Fund (NASDAQ: EASIX) has been added to Commonwealth Financial Network's list of recommended alternative investment mutual funds. Emerald serves as the advisor to the EAS Funds, which includes the EAS Genesis Fund and the EAS Global Cycle Fund.

The EAS Genesis Fund, a multi-strategy allocation fund which offers a diversified investment mix of alternatives, U.S. equities and global equities, becomes the second mutual fund to earn Commonwealth's recommendation in the multi-strategy category. Commonwealth Financial Network, founded in 1979 and one of the nation's most respected independent broker-dealers, is a recognized leader in financial advisory services. In 2010, it was ranked No. 1 in customer satisfaction by J.D. Power & Associates.

Following extensive due diligence, Commonwealth placed the EAS Genesis Fund on the firm's list of recommended mutual funds. Jonathan Belanger, lead Alternatives Investment Analyst for Commonwealth, noted: "The EAS Genesis Fund is a solid small account option for our advisors, but also one that can work as a core holding for those who want to outsource alternative strategy manager selection to professionals. Given the Fund's multi-manager approach, it carries a slightly higher expense ratio but in my opinion, it is worth the higher price tag."

The EAS Genesis Fund and the EAS Global Cycle Fund (NASDAQ: EGCSX) were also recently added to LPL Financial's Strategic Asset Management (SAM) Platform. Both of the EAS Funds offer a flexible investment approach, multi-strategy diversification and an emphasis on risk management, each with relatively low minimum investments. Given this design, the management team believes they provide attractive offerings that can be applied to both large and small portfolios.

"Advisors are looking for opportunities to offer sophisticated, risk-managed strategies in an efficient, one-stop-shop solution," said Medon Michaelides, Managing Partner of Emerald Allocations Strategies. "We believe the multi-strategy, hedged approach employed in our two funds make them great options."

Financial advisors across the country, including some of the largest and most notable wealth management firms such as Carson Wealth Management Group of Omaha, NE, have embraced the EAS Funds. Michaelides added: "Our goal is to provide sound solutions that are sustainable through nearly any market environment. We look forward to supporting advisors at Commonwealth, LPL and other firms as they seek useful alternatives for their clients."

About the EAS Funds

EAS Genesis Fund is Emerald's flagship fund and represents a multi-strategy vehicle that invests across three asset classes: Alternatives, US Equity and Global Equity. The Alternatives piece is generally 50% of the portfolio, and the goal of the Fund is absolute return. The Fund seeks to generate competitive returns over time, but with far less volatility than the equity market and with lower market correlation. We believe this Fund may serve as a strong foundation for many portfolios, large or small.

EAS Global Cycle is a multi-theme equity portfolio that pursues selective long-term growth opportunities across the globe. Examples of such themes may include global infrastructure, alternative energy, India/China equity, frontier markets and emerging pharmaceuticals, among others. EGCSX is derived from the Global Cycle separately managed account strategy that Emerald launched over five years ago, and the same tactical approach applies. This may include the use of hedging mechanisms with the goal of reducing the volatility that typically characterizes global/international equities.

Mutual Funds involve risk including possible loss of principal.

The Funds engage in hedging activities by investing in inverse ETFs. Inverse ETFs may employ leverage, which magnifies the changes in the underlying stock index upon which they are based. Any strategy that includes inverse securities could cause the Funds to suffer significant losses.

Up to 50% of the Fund'sassets can be invested in inverse securities and/or shorted; and given that the Fundcan temporarily invest 100% of assets in short term debt securities and/or money market instruments, the Fund's objectives may not be achieved.

The Funds may purchase ETFs and Underlying Funds that invest in "alternative asset" or "specialty" market segments. The risks and volatility of these investments are linked to narrow segments of the economy such as commodities, foreign currencies, or real estate, and may include leverage, which magnifies the changes in the value of the ETF or Underlying Fund.

ETFs are subject to specific risks, depending on the nature of the underlying strategy of the fund. These risks could include liquidity risk, sector risk, as well as risks associated with fixed income securities, real estate investments, and commodities, to name a few.

An investor's overall cost of investing in the Funds will be higher than the cost of investing directly in Underlying Fund shares, and the investor will indirectly bear fees and expenses charged by the Underlying Funds in addition to the Funds' direct fees and expenses.

The Funds may invest in smaller, less well-known companies, which may be subject to more erratic market movements than large-cap stocks, or foreign securities, which are subject to currency fluctuations and political uncertainty; and derivative securities, which may carry market, credit, and liquidity risks. These risks may result in greater share price volatility.

The Funds may invest in derivatives (Option Contracts). Even a small investment in options may give rise to leverage risk, and can have a significant impact on the Funds' performance. Derivatives are subject to credit risk and liquidity risk.

An investor should consider the Funds' investment objectives, risks, charges and expenses carefully before investing.
