On Saturday, June 14th at 10am more than 50 relay teams will fill Burnaby's Swangard Stadium for the beginning of the 35th annual Easter Seals 24 Hour Relay.

Teams from all over the lower mainland will run and walk "relay style" through Burnaby's Central Park for 24 hours to raise money for the B.C. Lions Society's Easter Seals Camping Program.

The goal for the relay, as it has been for the last 35 years, is to raise funds to help send children and young adults with physical and/or cognitive disabilities to Easter Seals camps for a week-long summer adventure.

The general public is encouraged to come out to Swangard Stadium and enjoy the fun and festivities between 10am and 10pm Saturday, and cheer on Relay participants.

Visual Opportunities:

  • Announcement of funds raised at the 35th annual 24 Hour Relay at 10:00AM on Sunday June 15th
  • Mr. & Ms. 24 Hour Relay Pageant at 9:45PM on Saturday June 14th
  • Volleyball and bocce tournaments throughout the day
  • On-going entertainment (line up of entertainers available upon request)
  • Food Carts - a first this year! On site throughout the relay
