Eastman Chemical Sees Companywide Gains in Fourth-Quarter, Full-Year 2010, an Industrial Info News Alert

SUGAR LAND, TX--(Marketwire - February 2, 2011) - Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) -- Chemical, fiber and plastics manufacturer Eastman Chemical Company (NYSE:EMN) (Kingsport, Tennessee) saw strong results for fourth-quarter and full-year 2010, thanks largely to higher sales volumes and increased selling prices. Net income for the quarter was $19 million, compared with a net loss of $32 million in the same period in 2009, and $438 million for the full year, compared with $136 million for 2009.
