Eastwick Expands East; Opens Office in New York

Geographic Expansion, Executive Team Hires, Promotions and Client Momentum Support Company Vision and Growth

SUNNYVALE, CA and NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Apr 14, 2014) - Eastwick, a leading independent integrated communications firm, today announced the launch of a New York office, along with executive level hires, promotions and client momentum. Today's announcement comes as the firm expands its services and staff to serve expanding global technology clients.

New York Office

The opening of an office in New York City provides Eastwick proximity to the epicenter of the media, advertising, financial services markets and a burgeoning tech scene. According to data released in April 2014 by the Partnership for New York City, tech employment has increased by 21 percent since 2006, nearly double the nation's 12 percent growth in tech jobs. Eastwick's expansion to New York will enable the firm to better serve clients, deepen relationships with East Coast-based influencers and expand the talent pool for recruitment in the city's high tech hub.

"Geographic expansion has been a long-term goal for Eastwick, and with several notable East Coast-based clients, and a forecast for strong revenue growth, the time was right to head east," said Barbara Bates, chief executive officer and founder of Eastwick. "We're aiming to create a two-way exchange of ideas between the Silicon Valley tech scene and that of New York. Both have things to offer the other and we hope to be the ones to foster that collaboration."
