Eau Claire Dental Office Adds Staff, Announces Building Addition

EAU CLAIRE, WI--(Marketwired - July 14, 2015) - Hebert Dental, an Eau Claire dental office that provides dental implants, recently began an expansion project that will house additional operatories.

Dr. Sean Tarpenning, of Hebert Dental, said the addition will include six new state-of-the-art operatories as part of a new garden level to Hebert Dental’s existing facility. The construction, which began earlier this summer, will add another 3,000 square feet to the building.

“We’re exciting and ready to see our office expand,” Dr. Tarpenning said. “As we see more and more patients, we’re dedicated to making a commitment that ensures all of our patients are getting treatment in a timely fashion.”

Along with the building addition, Hebert Dental will add four new staff members: Sheila Joles, Joe Bartlett, Alison Hertzfelt and Sammi Baumgartner. The new hires will assist Hebert Dental patients in the front office as well as in the operatories.

Dr. Tarpenning said he is pleased to be in a position to hire new workers and help the local economy.

“We’re proud to offer high-quality jobs to local oral health professionals,” Dr. Tarpenning said. “The additional staff will make us more efficient and allow us to serve more patients on any given day.”

Hebert Dental was started in 1975 by Dr. Thomas Herbert, and Dr. Tarpenning has been with the practice since 2000. Hebert Dental provides cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry (All-on-4 dental implants and mini dental implants), sedation dentistry and orthodontic treatments. The practice uses dental implants as single-tooth replacements or to stabilize dentures. Dental implants are the closest thing in dentistry to natural teeth and can last a lifetime if cared for properly.

Dr. Tarpenning graduated with honors from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, with a degree in biology and then the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Dr. Tarpenning has served as an adjunct fixed-prosthodontics instructor at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and has twice been the president of the Chippewa Valley Dental Society. He has undergone hundreds of hours in postgraduate education in orthodontics, restorative and sedation dentistry. He has Advanced Cardiac Life Support Training, which permits him to practice oral sedation dentistry, and has had extensive training in Invisalign treatment.

In addition to orthodontics and preventive care, Hebert Dental offers screenings for dental emergencies such as: tooth trauma; tooth decay or cavities; chipped or broken teeth; teeth that have been knocked out; loose bands and brackets; missing crowns or fillings; broken aligners, braces or wires; severe toothaches; broken dentures; partially dislodged teeth; objects caught between teeth and abscesses.
