ECG Management Consultants and Hallmark Healthcare Solutions Introduce Pioneering Physician Compensation Software

ARLINGTON, VA--(Marketwired - September 09, 2015) - ECG Management Consultants and Hallmark Healthcare Solutions, LLC, are pleased to announce the release of Heisenberg II, a cloud-based application that enables health systems and physician groups to more efficiently develop, manage, and evaluate their physician compensation plans.

At a time when many health organizations are struggling to develop and administer compensation plans using disconnected, labor-intensive processes and inadequate software, Heisenberg II is a strategically designed solution that delivers automation to a number of critical functions. The application facilitates contract management, compensation plan development and revision, physician payment adjudication, market rate identification, and collection of productivity- and quality-related performance data.

Sean Hartzell, Senior Manager at ECG, explained that Heisenberg II is designed to alleviate the challenges that healthcare leaders face in the administration and management of physician compensation. "We believe physician leaders need to focus more on leading their organizations and less on the administrative components of their position," he said. "Heisenberg II is the first product that gives organizations the framework to more effectively and comprehensively manage physician compensation."

Heisenberg II is the first technology developed through a strategic alliance between ECG, a national consulting firm working exclusively with healthcare providers, and Hallmark, a global healthcare solution and information technology firm. Combining ECG's advisory services and Hallmark's technology solutions, the alliance will provide joint go-to-market strategies for both companies while leveraging best practices, benchmarks, and industry standards.

"We are excited about the opportunity to work with Hallmark and look forward to a long-term and mutually beneficial relationship that further enhances our service offering," said Hartzell, who also serves as the alliance's General Manager.

Steve Messinger, President of ECG, echoed those remarks, "We believe that the infrastructure, quality of solutions, and technology platform of Heisenberg II create the ideal environment to strategically expand our services in the physician compensation and management space."

Also commenting on the alliance, Hallmark President and CEO Isaac Ullatil, said, "The strategic alliance with ECG creates the opportunity for Hallmark to become a formidable leader in the healthcare sector, where the prospects of providing differentiated intellectual capital and solutions are significant. We are really excited about the new range of services and geographies we are able to embrace through this collaboration with ECG."

Heisenberg II is already in use at one organization and is being implemented at two others. For more information about Heisenberg II and to schedule a demonstration, visit
