Howard Lindzon, Mark Goodman Appointed to the Board of Directors of the Growing Environmental and Charitable Movement

TORONTO--(Marketwire - October 15, 2008) - ECHOage Inc. (, a proprietary online invitation and payment system for children's birthday parties, today announced the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors -- new media industry expert, Howard Lindzon, founder of Lindzon Capital Partners and principal in Knight's Bridge Capital Investment, and Mark Goodman, the executive chairman of Cogitore Resources Inc. on behalf of Goodman Family Holdings. Both have also made financial investments in ECHOage and will be instrumental in the execution of the Company's North American growth strategy.

By simply pooling and redirecting funds customarily spent on birthday gifts, has enabled thousands of children from more than 30 US states and 10 Canadian provinces to contribute money to charitable organizations, while also reducing their environmental footprint. Specifically, party guests contribute money online in lieu of bringing gifts and ECHOage pools and divides the funds facilitating the purchase of ONE meaningful gift for the birthday child, and the donation to ONE charity of the child's choice. The site demonstrates how children can benefit from earning, managing and sharing funds.

"I love the idea of microgiving and ECHOage is the perfect example of this. My kids are nine and ten and I am tired of the excess associated with children's birthday parties. So, when I heard what the two founders had created, I just got it," said Howard Lindzon. "ECHOage offers parents and kids a great choice, plus it's a win/win/win business that taps all that is great about the internet."

Howard Lindzon is a principal of Knight's Bridge Capital Investment in addition to managing his own hedge fund Lindzon Capital Partners for the last 10 years. An expert in the new media industry, Mr. Lindzon is an active angel investor in the financial and Internet business sectors and writes one of the most popular financial blogs at with over 50,000 unique visitors/month. Additionally he recently sold startup videoblog Wallstrip to CBS Corp and continues to spearhead the show and web video as a consultant for CBS.

"ECHOage is an idea whose time has come," said Mark Goodman. "As a parent I have used this turn-key service, and as an investor in the project, I believe this program will change the way children celebrate their birthday parties, and the whole world will benefit."

Mark Goodman has been executive chairman of Cogitore Resources Inc., a base metal exploration company with properties in Quebec and Ontario, since 2007. He joined the company in 2004 as CEO where he remained until he was appointed executive chairman. Mr. Goodman is also on the board of several publicly traded and privately held companies, including Odyssey Resources Ltd., Corona Gold Corp., Dia Bras Exploration Inc., and the Dynamic Venture Opportunities Fund.

These new investors also join Anthony Lacavera, CEO of Globalive who was appointed to ECHOage's Board of Directors a few months ago.
