COSTA MESA, CA--(Marketwired - July 01, 2015) - Ecliptek Corporation has launched its evaluation of the European Chemicals Agency's (ECHA) latest Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC). The Candidate List that was updated June 15, 2015 to include two new substances:
- 1,2-benzenedicarboxylic acid, di-C6-10-alkyl esters; 1,2-benzenedicarboxylic acid, mixed decyl and hexyl and octyl diesters with ≥ 0.3% of dihexyl phthalate
- 5-sec-butyl-2-(2,4-dimethylcyclohex-3-en-1-yl)-5-methyl-1,3-dioxane [1], 5-sec-butyl-2-(4,6-dimethylcyclohex-3-en-1-yl)-5-methyl-1,3-dioxane [2] [covering any of the individual stereoisomers of [1] and [2] or any combination thereof]
In order to be compliant to the ECHA regulation, Ecliptek will finalize its impact assessment of the two new substances and complete the updating of the automated REACH documentation on its website on or before August 15, 2015.
