Eco Clean Attends ECRM and Makes Big Splash

Retailers Showed Serious Interest in the Brand

BOCA RATON, FL--(Marketwired - August 11, 2016) - Eco Clean, a Danish company that produces a cleaning solution based on natural ingredients that does not rely on unhealthy chemicals or dangerous ingredients, announced the company was successful in forging some important new connections for the brand when it attended the 2016 ECRM Diet, Vitamin & Sports Nutrition conference in Tampa, Florida.

This specific ECRM event gives companies in the nutritional, sports and health fields a chance to gather together and meet with some of the most influential retail buyers in their respective industries. Sales executives report outstanding performance at the event, and are very positive about their future coming out of it.

"This event gave our brand the opportunity to meet with some of the industry's heavy hitters in Walgreens, Evine, CVS, Cardinal Health, Jet.com and AmeriMark," said Tommy Anderson of Eco Clean Nordic LLC. "These connections will mean possible new business and sales opportunities for Eco Clean."

Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, the company was founded in 2010 by a team of passionate people with the goal of creating wholly biodegradable and sustainable household cleaning products. The brand has already seen significant success throughout Denmark, Germany, Austria and Scandinavia, and now looks to bring its products to a new audience in the United States that has a demonstrated need for sustainable cleaning products.

Since WWII 85,000 new chemicals have been created in the US and most have not been approved by the Environmental Protection Agency. Several are in various household cleaning products. Phthalate and triclosan are two dangerous ingredients found in most.

Antibacterial agent triclosan interferes with muscle function, alters hormone regulation and is found in 75 percent of American households. A Toxicological Sciences study found that triclosan affected estrogen-mediated responses, and many chemicals that imitate estrogen are known to increase breast cancer risk.

Researchers have linked phthalates, another common and harmful cleaning ingredient, to asthma, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, breast cancer, obesity and type II diabetes, low IQ, neurodevelopmental issues, behavioral issues, autism spectrum disorders, altered reproductive development and male fertility issues.

Fortunately Eco Clean has developed effective, sanitizing and natural formulas that contain no unsafe chemicals. Eco Clean products are so safe that they are biodegradable and harmless to children and animals.

"It was extremely important to be involved in the ECRM trade show, and we're very excited about the possible opportunities we have in store from it," said Tommy Andersen. "We can't wait to further our product availability in the US Market."
