Eco Depot Announces Acquisition of CSTech (America)

Combined Company to Deliver LED Lighting Platform That Redefines How Consumers Engage Government Mandates to Retro-Fit "Banned" Incandescent Lighting Systems

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - July 7, 2010) -   Eco Depot, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: ECDP) (OTCQB: ECDP) today announced the completion of its acquisition of CS Tech (America). As a result of the all-stock transaction, CS Tech (America) is to be merged into Eco Depot and will continue to operate as a wholly owned division of the company.

The combination of Eco Depot and CS Tech (America) creates one of the most innovative and avant-garde alternative lighting systems to meet the world's quickly-approaching deadline to phase out the Incandescent Light Bulb. The acquisition brings together some of the LED Lighting industry's most advanced engineering of proprietary LED technologies for developing, managing and delivering superior lighting and compelling energy-compliant solutions to meet the imminent implementation of the world-wide Incandescent Bulb ban. The move also accelerates CS Tech's strategic initiative to advance an aggressive manufacturing and delivery fulfillment capacity to meet the estimated $50 Billion retro-fit demand by U.S. municipalities to "change-out" their antiquated and inefficient street lighting systems during the next decade.

"The mandated replacement of Incandescent Bulbs and the pending movement to replace fluorescent and mercury-halogen lighting with solid-state LED Lighting Systems is the single greatest green retro-fit legislation in history. It is certain to save more energy than all of the solar panels and wind turbines ever manufactured and will transform the way the world equates the energy and fiscal responsibilities of lighting," said Arthur Han, assistant to the chief executive officer of Eco Depot. "Eco Depot and CS Tech intend to be at the center of this revolution, and together we will build on our in-place and immediate LED Lighting Systems delivery capacity to redefine the way municipalities and businesses finance their lighting requirements."

This week the company will begin executing the integration of the two companies' operations, and customer care organizations to ensure a smooth transition and immediate value for customers, partners and investors. As part of the initial integration, Eco Depot today announced the new CS Tech product line of solid-state LED Lighting Systems for municipalities and corporations seeking to build-out and retro-fit street and area lighting; office, industrial and retail T-bar lighting markets and; Harbor/Sports Stadium high-illumination markets.
