Eco-Friendly Colorhouse Paint Debuts Three New Color Collections for 2015

Introducing Three All-Original Paint Palettes That Energize, Inspire, and Transform a Variety of Living and Working Spaces

PORTLAND, OR--(Marketwired - Oct 15, 2014) - Renowned for premium paint finishes formulated without volatile organic compounds (VOCs), Colorhouse today announced three fresh, new color collections for 2015: "Lost + Foundry" imparts a modern, industrial vibe with layers of grey and green; "Homespun Hues," are easy neutrals, as soft and simple as homespun yarn; and "Eclectic Geometric," uses a collision of unexpected colors to create a pleasantly sharp color palette. All Colorhouse collections can be shopped online at,, and at select local retailers.

"We've designed our 2015 color collections to appeal to a variety of color enthusiasts -- from homeowners to designers alike," said Puji Sherer, Colorhouse VP Marketing/Chief Color Nerd.

Lost + Foundry

The "Lost + Foundry" palette relies on the colors of found objects and salvage pieces to create a grounded, gritty design aesthetic. "Taking our cue from modern industrial designers, we focused on taking this cooler, more commercial look and warming it up for residential interiors to inform this palette's direction," Sherer said.

Curated items in the home or office will pop on the rich charcoal backdrop of METAL .05, while METAL .04 and BISQUE .06 provide shifts in value on ceilings and trim. The palette can be tied together with the understated, hardworking green of GLASS .05.

Homespun Hues

Like the colors of yarn, "Homespun Hues" are soft, simple and warm. These natural hues create an intentionally unsophisticated backdrop for a cozy and relaxed lifestyle. "Homespun Hues" bring the warmth and comfort of easy neutrals into the home -- a perfect fit with both traditional and contemporary décor," according to Sherer.

Weave together flea market finds with designer furniture, for the look and feel of casual luxury. Bring it back home, by incorporating a subtle Americana influence with the muted red of WOOD .05 and gentle navy of WOOL .06. "

Eclectic Geometric

This mash-up of sharp edges and unexpected color combinations works together to create a supremely pleasing palette. Pastel peach CREATE .01 and robin's egg blue SPROUT .01 lose their sweetness when combined with brassy BEESWAX .04 and contemporary coral CLAY .07. "Layered together in a geometric wall pattern or spread out room by room, these colors shatter expectations surrounding traditional design, as they create a unique look: one that reflects a thoroughly individual style," Sherer said.
