Eco-Shift Power Corp (OTCQB: ECOP) Announces Open Standard Approach to Increasing Market Share With Its Radium - Wireless Light Management System

CAMBRIDGE, ON--(Marketwired - September 25, 2014) - Eco-Shift Power Corp (OTCQB: ECOP)

Today Eco-Shift (ECOP) announces an open standard protocol for it's Wireless Light Management System, which has been rebranded from ECOP's "Virtual Power Plant Platform" to "Radium". ECOP's Radium Light Management System will now include the ZigBee open standard protocol, making Radium compatible with any third party ZigBee products. Radium will now be compatible with over 1,000 ZigBee Certified products that are available to the market.

ECOP has selected an open standard for Radium as it provides more options and flexibility for customers and will assist with rapid market penetration. Customers will now be able to easily add-on additional controls and sensors over time. For example, a customer with the basic Radium Wireless Light Management System can later add third party ZigBee motion and/or daylight sensors.

The open standard approach will also allow for increased compatibility with existing building automation systems and other energy using devices, such as HVAC or compressors. Building automation is a high growth market, with Markets and Markets estimating that the global Building Automation & Controls Market will be worth $49.5 Billion by 2018. The same group estimates that the Demand Response Management System market will be worth $24.6 Billion by 2019. ECOP is well positioned to enter these markets with an open standard wireless energy management system that is Automated Demand Response ready.

The Radium Light Management System utilizes a modern web-based user interface that is accessible by any web browser via desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone. Radium provides clients with complete control over their lighting infrastructure with the ability to automatically dim lights to more suitable levels, or create pre-programmed schedules based on existing operating hours to cut back on consumption when areas of the facility are unoccupied. The system will also allow users to schedule their lights to dim to appropriate levels automatically during times of estimated peak demand and high electricity costs.

ECOP Lighting Solutions and Energy Management serves a client roster including Mattel, ThyssenKrupp, and Parmalat. With a foundation in new-era LED lighting and wireless and web-enabled technologies, ECOP is transitioning clients' decision making from old, fixed technology to the new information age.
