Eco-Shift Power Corp. (OTCQB: ECOP) Announces Receipt of DLC Approval for the Canadian Made 2'x2' LED Flat Panel With Integrated Control Capabilities

CAMBRIDGE, ON--(Marketwired - November 06, 2014) - Committed to delivering innovative and quality LED solutions, North American lighting leader Eco-Shift Power Corp (OTCQB: ECOP) announced today that its NetZero 2'x2' LED Flat Panel has received DesignLights Consortium (DLC) approval, confirming that the state-of-the-art luminaire is a leading high quality, high efficiency LED product for the commercial sector. Furthermore, DLC approval marks the fixture as eligible for North American utility energy incentives.

Based on the DLC results, the 50W 2'x2' LED Flat Panel provides a light output of 6173 lumens, with an impressive efficacy of 123 lumens per watt. The fixture is available in different color temperatures, including 5000K (cool white) which makes it ideal for office and commercial applications. With a life expectancy of 96,000 hours (L70), ECOP has backed it with a warranty of 10 years. The 2'x2' LED flat panel comes with integrated light management control capabilities.

The DesignLights Consortium brings stakeholders together to define and promote leading edge high quality, high efficiency commercial sector lighting solutions. It promotes quality, performance and energy efficient LED lighting solutions through collaboration among its federal, regional, state, utility providers as well as energy efficiency program members, luminaire manufacturers, lighting designers, and other industry players throughout North America. By meeting the standards for a DesignLights Consortium (DLC) listing, the fixtures also qualify for utility rebates across North America and Europe.

This is a win-win situation as it facilitates the implementation of LED lighting solutions when budget becomes a constraint. Energy incentive programs such as saveONenergy through Hydro One in Ontario can be found throughout Canada and the US. Examples of utility companies offering such programs are Hydro Quebec, BC Hydro, Anaheim Public Utilities (CA), Central Hudson Gas and Electric (NY), and Austin Energy (TX). These utility companies provide upfront incentives of up to 50% of high efficiency lighting project cost which helps to produce projects with very attractive Returns on Investments (ROI) and Paybacks of under 2.5 years.

ECOP's NetZero 1'x4' and 2'x4' LED Flat Panels version are one step behind the 2'x2' LED Flat Panel and will be ready to hit the market in the new year. These fixtures are similarly designed and will perform to the same high standards laid out by the 2'x2' flat panel. "With 10 years of experience under our belts in sourcing the best products for our clients, we have complete belief that our LED Flat Panel Family will hit the ground running and be top competitors in the commercial LED market" states Mike Leishman, VP of Operations and head of R&D at ECOP. The NetZero Flat Panel Suite will be an ideal solution for the replacement of existing T12, T8, and T5 fluorescent troffers used in many applications including high rise office buildings, hospitals, schools, universities and other public and commercial buildings.

The control capabilities of ECOP's proprietary LED fixtures are managed utilizing ECOP's 'Radium' Software Suite via communication through an open protocol node, 'Zigbee', capable of connecting to other energy using technologies such as HVAC, compressors and plug loads. The Radium Light Management System will operate under a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model and provide Demand Management and Demand Response services in addition to more general wireless lighting controls.
