ECO2 Forests Inc. Expand Further With Opening of Australian Corporate Office

SACREMENTO, CA and QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA--(Marketwire - October 13, 2009) - ECO2 Forests Inc. (PINKSHEETS: ECOF), an international sustainable forestry company focused on reforestation and carbon sequestration projects, is proud to announce the opening their Australian office as the company expands into the Asia Pacific region.

ECO2 Forests' Australian office will focus on the acquisition, implementation and operation of Global Forestry Plan projects within the Asia Pacific Region with particular focus on developing Pacific Nations and on mined land rehabilitation projects 'Down Under.'

Based in Queensland, Australia, ECO2 Forests' recently appointed Chief Operating Officer, Ray Smith be further appointed to the role of Managing Director, Asia Pacific Region and head up the regional office.

The Australian office will share unified software communications platforms and a new carbon inventory management system with the US head office in Sacramento to ensure seamless communication and access to shared content between all stakeholders.
