Ecology and Environment, Inc. Awarded Contract With U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Kansas City District


LANCASTER, NY--(Marketwired - Aug 20, 2015) - Ecology and Environment, Inc. (E & E) (NASDAQ: EEI) is one of seven firms awarded an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) to provide Architect-Engineer services in support of the Northwest Division (NWD) of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) and environmental missions. The three-year contract includes one optional two-year extension period and has a shared capacity of $90 million among the firms awarded contracts.

The anticipated work on the Contract will be within EPA Region 2 (which includes New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands) and the NWD (including the Kansas City, Omaha, and Seattle Districts), with the majority of the work in EPA Region 2. The anticipated scope will include work on a variety of hazardous waste and other environmental sites and projects, such as: contaminated soil and groundwater, contaminated sediments, radioactive and mixed wastes, underground storage tanks and fueling systems, and habitat restoration and mitigation.
