ECONOFAN Receives Financial Support from Government of Canada

UPTON, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Aug. 13, 2013) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that the recently established company ECONOFAN (8032319 Canada Inc.) has been granted financial assistance to implement its European commercialization strategy and thus increase its sales.

"By supporting the growth of ECONOFAN, the Government of Canada is showing proof of its determination to stimulate economic growth and job creation," said Minister Lebel.

ECONOFAN is a fledgling company specialized in the design and manufacture of ventilation products for farm livestock buildings. Having already established a presence on the Canadian market, it is now looking to sell its R&D-derived product in Europe and particularly in France.

The funding from Canada Economic Development will allow the firm to proceed with its project, which includes updating its brand image, revamping its Web site and developing a site positioning strategy, purchasing advertising, participating in trade shows, meeting with potential clients and business partners, negotiating partnership agreements and retaining the services of a consultant.

This assistance, granted in the form of a $49,800 repayable contribution, has been awarded through Canada Economic Development's Quebec Economic Development Program.
