Ecoprogress Provides China Update

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - July 13, 2005) - Consolidated Ecoprogress Technology Inc. (TSX VENTURE:CES) (Vancouver, British Columbia), with the acknowledgement of Champion International Holdings (Hong Kong) Limited, wishes to provide an update to the market about developments in China.

On September 8th 2004, Ecoprogress announced two agreements with Champion for manufacturing and, separately, for sales and distribution. Sales by Champion did not grow as planned due to improved product not being available. Different views inside Champion on the best sales and manufacturing strategies resulted in the separation of Yuji from the Champion team.

With the support of Champion, Yuji assisted Ecoprogress in the commercialization of the new B9 film and project managed the first production of new Flushaway™ as produced in early April '05.

Discussions and negotiations have been underway with Champion, Yuji and other companies in the China territory to sign new sales and distribution agreements, and secure long-term manufacturing.

On July 7th, 2005, the Company announced the signing of a binding letter of intent with Yuji Development of China that formalizes its existing manufacturing arrangements with Yuji, puts in place a new sales and distribution agreement and settles the debt incurred in the commercialization of the improved B9 film and Flushaway™ product.

During the course of these events Ecoprogress waived Champions sales and manufacturing exclusivity in exchange for suspending Champions sales target obligations.

Ecoprogress expects to retain access to the 6500 stores in the China territory, as previously announced in the September news release.

The Company now plans to steadily increase manufacturing output to meet the growing demand for the new Flushaway™ product.

Flushaway™ as featured in Western Grocer magazine.

Ecoprogress is diligently working on becoming a lead player in environmentally friendly, absorbent and 'plastic replacement' products. Its first branded product, Flushaway, provides women with a flushable feminine hygiene alternative product that, after disposal biodegrades in 28 days.
