eCopy Multivendor Alliance Establishes HP Digital Copiers as Paper Capture Devices for More Than 20 Enterprise Software Applications

MIAMI, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 5, 2005 -- eCopy PAPER CONNECTION FORUM -- eCopy, Inc. today announced the eCopy Ready Manufacturers Program now includes HP, whose copiers will serve as essential infrastructure components for document lifecycle management in more than 20 enterprise software applications.

As part of the program, HP digital copier customers can leverage eCopy ScanStation OP v3.0 to add paper-based information to any enterprise business application. Other vendors participating in the eCopy Ready Manufacturers Program include Ricoh, Sharp, and Toshiba.

In addition, eCopy has become a member of HP's Solution Business Partner program, which designates eCopy as a leading third-party independent software vendor that enhances the utility of HP technology. eCopy was selected based on its ability to provide and support industry-leading solutions.

In addition to copying, printing, and scanning, HP users can now easily incorporate documents directly to enterprise content management, fax server, and e-mail applications for more productive business workflows, improved document security, and consistent use of enterprise applications for both paper-based and electronic information.
