Ecotech Institute to Host Sustainable Storytelling Series

Six Presentations Designed to Help Companies Effectively Share Their Green Initiatives

DENVER, CO--(Marketwired - Aug 8, 2014) - Ecotech Institute, the first and only college entirely focused on renewable energy education, is hosting a six-part series on green initiatives, presented by Taiga Company.

"Sustainable Storytelling" is designed to help executives, marketing and communications teams -- along with sustainability and corporate social responsibility professionals -- identify social media opportunities for their company's green story. The presentations will analyze specific challenges and strategies in communicating eco-friendly practices.

"We are excited to partner together on this series that tackles a topic so many companies are dealing with right now," said Chris Gorrie, Ecotech Institute's academic dean. "This series helps companies properly communicate their sustainability initiatives and coaches attendees on how to highlight their corporate sustainability values."

All presentations, which are no cost for Ecotech Institute students, but $40 for other attendees, will be held at Ecotech Institute's campus, 1400 S. Abilene St., Aurora, Colo. Attendees can register for single sessions or to get a discount they can register for the entire series. The first session, titled "Unlocking the Value of Your Company's Sustainability Program," was held on July 25.
