ecVision to Present Supplier Collaboration Strategies Discussion at NRF Big Show

ISELIN, NJ--(Marketwire - Dec 6, 2011) - ecVision, provider of supply chain collaboration solutions for private label brands and retailers, will be hosting a panel discussion comprised of industry experts who will talk about the benefits of a multi-enterprise, synchronized approach to supply chain management at the National Retail Federation (NRF) Big Show on Monday, January 16, 2012.

Cycle time reduction, speed-to-market and margin optimization continue to be the most desired characteristics of a best-in-class supply chain. To make a measureable impact on top and bottom lines, brands and retailers need to implement multi-tier strategies to overcome the complexities of today's global sourcing complexities. The panel includes three knowledgeable executives with distinct viewpoints on this subject:

  • Bessie Peppas, Supply Chain Operations Program Manager, New Balance
  • Cheryl Layne, VP of Products and Solutions, ecVision
  • Joe Fantasia, Director - Supply Chain Strategy, Deloitte Consulting

"During this panel discussion our speakers will illustrate how supplier-side communication strategies enable leading footwear and apparel brands to improve their sourcing and supply chain operations," said Gary Barraco, Director of Product Marketing for ecVision. "ecVision's customers, such as New Balance, are using our solutions to communicate with suppliers at every tier -- agent, factory, mill or tannery -- enabling them to simultaneously respond to production increases while keeping costs down for the consumer, resulting in lower cost of goods delivered/sold and increased speed-to-market."

ecVision's educational session titled "Multi-Tier Supplier Collaboration Strategies," will be on Monday, January 16th at 10:15am. The NRF Big Show is an educational convention and expo for retailers to learn more about pioneering solutions and services. Registration is free for qualified retailers.
