Dave Ryan, CTO, has more than 20 years of experience in wireless systems with an emphasis on broadband airlink development. Conference Session:
Intelligent Scheduling via Multi Node Radio Resource Management
Ryan's presentation will address the industry's expectation for LTE to meet the increasing demands of broadband wireless users through new network topologies, deployment models and automated approaches to radio resource management.

Ryan will highlight advances in intelligent scheduling via dynamic multi-node radio resource optimization technologies. He will discuss the benefits of multi-cell coordination for LTE networks, including reduced interference through cooperative neighbor cell scheduling, increased cell and network throughput, improved performance for cell edge users and decreased network congestion.

Panel Discussion:
Current Limitations of Network Intelligence
Ryan will join executives from TNO Netherlands and Bell Canada in a discussion on network performance metrics, their current limitations and the opportunities and challenges related to collecting and acting on real time metrics in an SON-enabled network. This open audience Q&A session will be moderated by Philipp Deiber of the NGMN Alliance.

Closing Panel Session:
SON in the Future -- How will it Evolve?
Ryan will also participate in the closing panel session, which will address the future of SON. He will be joined by representatives from FemtoForum, Telecom Italia Lab and DessCon.

Product Demonstration:

The Eden-NET demo will highlight how LTE operators can achieve substantial performance gains in system capacity and cell edge performance from Eden Rock's novel approach to the dynamic real-time coordination of multi-node resources. The company will also be sharing its plans for the upcoming Eden-NET LTE field trial. Demonstrations will be ongoing during exhibition hours.
