EDGARfilings Announces XBRL Fall Training Schedule

These half-day workshops are designed to introduce companies to the practice of creating eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) documents for submission to the SEC.

The SEC is rapidly moving forward with XBRL, a technology which tags information in a way computers can sort and process data more quickly and with greater consistency. This process allows companies to submit XBRL versions of their financial information as part of their existing filing process. XBRL documents can be filed as supplement part of the Form 8-K, 6-K, or filed as part of a regular Form 10-Q/10-K filing along with the official HTML documents.
