Editorial Feature: BPA's John Brooks Appointed WFMA President

SHELTON, CT--(Marketwire - Jan 17, 2012) - The Western Fulfillment Management Association (WFMA) has appointed BPA Worldwide's John Brooks as the organization's new president.

Brooks, BPA's Director of Marketing Services, first became a director with the WFMA in 1997 and has served several roles including Treasurer and VP, Programming. In his role as President, Brooks will share supervision, direction and control of the business affairs of the association, along with 13 appointed officers and directors.

Brooks has served as the Director of Marketing Services with BPA since July 2007 and is responsible for managing the daily activities of the US Marketing staff. He joined the global auditing organization in October 1991 as a field auditor and has held management positions in Internal Auditing and while directing the regional audit operations in the West, Midwest and Southern regions of the US. Brooks was promoted to Vice President, Member Relations in January 2001. He left BPA in November 2001 and held management positions at Stark Services and PRIMEDIA's Enthusiast Media before returning to BPA Worldwide in July 2007. Brooks is a graduate of UCLA and currently resides in Santa Clarita, CA, with his twin sons.
