Editorial Feature: DTSG Approves BPA Worldwide as Certifying Body

SHELTON, CT--(Marketwired - Jul 28, 2014) - In its ongoing effort to bring assurance and solutions to remove risk from the online advertising market, BPA Worldwide has been approved as a verification provider to the Digital Trade Standards Group (DTSG) standards.

The DTSG was developed by JICWEBS (Joint Industry Committee for Web Standards) in the UK and Ireland to facilitate the safe buying and selling of digital advertising and ensure independent comparability of web measurement. According to DTSG guidelines, all members must use a third-party verification provider approved by JICWEBS to verify adherence to the Good Practice Principles.

BPA is also recognized as an approved certifying body from a number of other industry organizations around the world, including EDAA, IAB, UFI, AEO, JICREG and GMIC.

According to Glenn Hansen, BPA President and CEO, "The DTSG's Good Practice Principles program places a focus on transparency and accountability, two principles BPA was founded upon. We are thrilled that organizations can now turn to BPA to serve as their verification provider to DTSG standards and look forward to bringing additional trust and assurance to the online advertising marketplace."
