Edmonton, Alberta attractions get a little fresh perspective when seen through a runner's eyes in this new video released by Edmonton Tourism.

Viewers can travel the extensive outdoor trails of Edmonton with this student runner, exploring the treasures of the River Valley on foot and getting a glimpse of popular Edmonton attractions.

In collaboration with Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, Victoria School of the Arts and Edmonton Tourism, this new series of Edmonton, Alberta videos tell the story of the city through young eyes.

Watch this student lift-off, posing as a human airplane to enjoy not only outdoor activities but see many Edmonton attractions on the way, from Hawrelak Park to the Muttart Conservatory to the Alberta Legislature Building.

The human airplane runs through Hawrelak Park, soaking in the tranquil atmosphere, where festival fun such as the Freewill Shakespeare Festival, the Edmonton Heritage Festival and Edmonton Symphony Orchestra's Symphony Under the Sky Festival take place.

From a runner's perspective the Dove of Peace sculpture, outside the lush Muttart Conservatory, is a pleasant spectacle. And inside, visitors can explore a steaming jungle, trek across the sun-baked desert, experience the changing seasons in the temperate forest and stroll through the scents of a floral paradise.

Dream of a little fresh air and a brisk run some place like the North Saskatchewan River Valley, Edmonton's impressive urban parkland that's 22 times the size of New York's Central Park? Or is your thing armchair exploring the beautiful attractions of a destination? Either way, this video offers an inspiring, youthful vision of Edmonton, Alberta.
