Edo Japan Celebrates 100th Restaurant Opening

Alberta-based company opens 100th restaurant in Namao 160 shopping centre, Edmonton - celebrates with free Edo Japan for a year giveaways

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - May 3, 2011) -


WHAT:Edo Japan, an Alberta-based company known for its signature Teriyaki sauce and delicious food prepared in a traditional Teppan style, will be opening its 100th restaurant in Namao 160 shopping Centre, Edmonton. To celebrate, Edo Japan will provide free food for a year to the 100thpaying customer each day for the first week of operations, starting on May 10, 2011.
This will be franchise owner Nelson Rodriguez's fifth Edo Japan restaurant in the Edmonton and surrounding area. To show his appreciation for the community, Rodriguez will be making a donation to the Guthrie School at an invite only function on May 9, 2011.
Established in 1979, Edo Japan has proven popular with customers, serving more than seven million meals annually, and has become a delicious, healthy and fresh alternative for Canadian consumers.
