Education Foundation of Santa Monica-Malibu Uses Digital Currency to Fundraise

Digital Currency Provides Merchants and Consumers Seamless Philanthropy

SANTA MONICA, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 23, 2005 -- The Education Foundation of Santa Monica-Malibu announced today that it has joined forces with CEO America, Inc. (OTC: CEOA) to launch an innovative fundraising program.

The joint effort includes retailers, manufacturers and other local businesses giving back a percentage of sales from the use of a Santa Monica-Malibu MyCommunity Card to fund the public schools' sports, literacy, science, technology and arts programs.

Established in 1982, the foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, supporting and enhancing a comprehensive range of programs within the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District. Its mission is to raise funds in support of literacy, the arts, science, technology, sports and innovative enhancements to existing curricula.

The Foundation's programs include:

Bells and Books of Knowledge, an endowment which funds literacy programs throughout the District, and whose goal is to fund a two million dollar endowment.

The Academic Enrichment Grants provide vitally needed funds to teachers in the District on an annual basis to fund innovative class programs in every discipline.

The Dalia Spektor Science Scholarship funds a science scholarship for a graduating Senior annually at Santa Monica High School.

For The Arts, Co-Chaired by Mel Gibson and Greg Coote, the goal of which is to raise a fifteen million dollar endowment to permanently fund arts education in Dance, Drama, Music and Visual Arts.

The program will include the distribution of over 100,000 cards through various promotional events and activities over the next 12 months including cooperation and participation with the Santa Monica-Malibu School Board, Santa Monica-Malibu PTAs, Chamber of Commerce, the cities of Santa Monica and Malibu and of course the students who are the ultimate beneficiaries of this much needed additional funding. The program is planned to launch in late October 2005.
