Eduplanet21 to Deliver Digital Content for the PA Striving Readers Comprehensive Literacy Program

MECHANICSBURG, PA--(Marketwired - September 17, 2013) - The Pennsylvania Department of Education has finalized an agreement with Eduplanet21 to offer a Social Learning solution to support the current Striving Readers Comprehensive Literacy Program. The solution will consist of a social learning network and nine related digital Learning Paths hosted by Eduplanet21.

The purpose of the Striving Readers Comprehensive Literacy (SRCL) discretionary grants is to create a comprehensive literacy program to advance literacy skills -- including pre-literacy skills, reading, and writing -- for students from birth through grade 12, including limited-English-proficient students and students with disabilities.

Using Eduplanet21's innovative social learning model, classroom teachers, instructional specialists, and building and district-level administrators' will have constant access to materials and cohort members for truly collaborative learning.
