EEDC Awards to Recognize Greater Edmonton's Leading Organizations

Call for nominations open until February 21

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Jan. 28, 2011) - Edmonton Economic Development Corporation is proud to recognize Edmonton's leading organizations through its 2011 Achievement Awards.

"We are looking for organizations that represent and reflect our corporate priority areas: leadership, innovation and recognition," says Ron Gilbertson, president and CEO of Edmonton Economic Development Corporation. "We want to acknowledge and recognize leading organizations in Greater Edmonton which engage the community and act as a catalyst for change, while fostering innovation and increasing Edmonton's visibility on a global level."

Award nominations are open to all organizations in the Greater Edmonton area that have been in business for a minimum of three years. Submissions must be made online and may be for more than one category. The submission deadline is February 21.

The awards will be presented at EEDC's Annual Luncheon on April 18.
