EEDC Director Receives Economic Developer of the Year

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - April 16, 2012) - Recognized as an outstanding professional, Kent McMullin, director of business development at Edmonton Economic Development Corporation (EEDC), received an Economic Developers of Alberta (EDA) annual award for his significant contribution to economic development in the Greater Edmonton region.

As a long-time member of the EDA board, McMullin received the award for excellence in business attraction, retention, expansion and marketing.

McMullin has been on the EDA board for over 10 years and was elected president of the association on Friday, April 13, 2012.
