eegee's Celebrates 40 Years With City-Wide Giveaway

TUCSON, AZ--(Marketwire - Sep 6, 2011) - On Wednesday, Sept 7, eegee's is celebrating their 40th birthday by giving away free eegee's frozen fruit drinks. On Sept 7, 2011 only, any person can visit any eegee's restaurant location and get a free small Original Orange flavor eegee. No purchase is necessary, while supplies last, during normal business hours, limit 1 per person, no substitutions. Valid at Tucson and Casa Grande locations.

September marks the 40th anniversary of eegee's in Tucson. In 1971, Ed Irving and Bob Greenberg began selling their frozen fruit drinks from a vending truck. Over the last 40 years, eegee's has grown to 23 locations serving sub-style sandwiches and award winning fries. In 2006, the eegee's restaurants changed hands to the O'Connor family (CEO Foods, Inc.), but continues to operate with the same founding family values.
