eEuroparts.com Now Official Auto Parts Sponsor of Racing Series

WINDSOR, CT--(Marketwired - Aug 11, 2015) - eEuroparts.com®, leading online retailer of European auto parts, announced today a new partnership with American Endurance Racing. eEuroparts.com® is the official parts sponsor for the American Endurance Racing series and is also offering additional podium prizes for each race.

The American Endurance Racing (AER) series is a multi-class, amateur auto-racing competition in its second year of existence, although most cars and their drivers look anything but amateur on the track. AER's schedule expanded to five races in 2015: the already-completed races at New Jersey Motorsports Park and Palmer Motorsports Park in Massachusetts; and upcoming events at Virginia International Raceway August 15-16, Summit Point Motorsports Park in West Virginia September 19-20, and the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course October 24-25.

To keep races competitive, AER places cars in three to five classes based on number of entrants and qualifying times during designated Friday sessions. Each three day weekend of racing includes all-day qualifying on Friday, followed by eight to nine hours of competitive racing both Saturday and Sunday -- a true test of endurance. Every car and driver is assigned a barcode to track lap times, driver changes and pit stops. They are also used to monitor classes and provide teams and their fans real-time updates. The top three finishers in each class receive awards.

According to eEuroparts.com®'s President and CEO Matt Moran, seasoned racing-enthusiast and team-owner himself, American Endurance Racing and eEuroparts.com® are a perfect match. "AER is exactly what our customers, employees and sponsored teams are looking for -- a well-run series where people passionate about racing can do so competitively without going bankrupt." Elaborating his second point, Moran says that the eEuroparts.com® Motorsports program now sponsors over a dozen racing teams -- giving thousands of dollars in credits to amateurs around the country -- in exchange for occasional behind-the-scenes photos and video footage of before and during race days, along with updates about their experiences and racing activities. Moran sees eEuroparts.com®'s partnership with AER as a natural extension of their Motorsports program. "I know from experience that racing is not a cheap hobby. Partnering with AER will help more people do what they love in a highly-competitive environment."
