Eguana Technologies Commissions BiDirex Production Line in Durach Germany

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - March 26, 2014) - Eguana Technologies Inc (TSX VENTURE:EGT), a manufacturer of high performance power conversion and control systems for "smart grid" and "micro-grid" energy storage applications is pleased to announce completion of the installation and commissioning processes for its high volume BiDirex manufacturing line at TQ Systems ("TQS"), formerly SRI Radio Systems GmbH, in Durach Germany.

"Along with the production line and quality test set up, key TQS personnel have been trained in BiDirex assembly and the first units are already coming off the line," commented Spyros Gorgogiannis, Eguana's lead power electronics engineer located in Germany.

The "Made in Germany" Bi-Direx product is available inside the market leading Sonnenbatterie Comfort suite of products. "Having full scale manufacturing capability centered in the heart of the demand region will provide a host of Supply Chain opportunities for Eguana" added Eguana's COO Justin Holland. "These include increased capacity, significant logistics savings, as well as state of the art testing facilities allowing us to providing world class quality and service to our partners in the European region."

Eguana will continue to manufacture Bi-Direx inverters for customers in North American and Asia at its facility in Calgary Alberta. Eguana's manufacturing model and its world class supply chain management team provides maximum flexibility to ramp production with minimal working capital and respond quickly to changes in demand mix.
