eHydrogen Solutions Announces First Joint Development

US Home Heating Retrofit Market Exceeds $15 Billion

RENO, NV--(Marketwire - January 13, 2010) - eHydrogen Solutions, Inc. (eHs) (PINKSHEETS: EHYD), is pleased to announce it has completed its first Joint Development Letter of Intent (LOI) specifically for adaptation of the proprietary eHs Hydrogen on Demand technology to the Home Heating Market. The LOI signed today with a group representing new home developers and heating contractors, calls for product development and adaptation initially for the retrofit market in the US. With over 72 million single family US homes heated with natural gas, fuel oil or Propane/LPG, the potential retrofit market would exceed $15 billion.

It is anticipated that the hydrogen enhancement for home heating would significantly reduce emissions and potentially reduce fuel cost by at least 15%. Home heating represents approximately 17% of US CO2 emissions, third behind transportation and power generation and more than $65 billion is spent heating US homes with natural gas, fuel oil and Propane/LPG.

The LOI encompasses the joint development and distribution rights for the US market, and performance based options for additional distribution markets. The parties expect to be finalizing timetables and development schedules within the next 45 days and be in a position to complete agreements and commence the product development/adaptation immediately thereafter.

About eHydrogen Solutions

Engineered Hydrogen Solutions (eHs) specializes in the development of on-demand hydrogen-generating technology designed to increase the efficiency of virtually any combustion process. The technology is based on a proprietary Hydrogen Injection system, in which hydrogen and oxygen are generated on-demand via electrolysis and then introduced into the combustion process. The 'fuel' for the technology is distilled water. Two key benefits of the eHs technology are significantly reduced fuel consumption and emissions. Decades went into developing an electrolyser that is reliable, thermodynamically efficient, and capable of operating in all weather conditions. The technology is adaptable to a wide variety of internal combustion engine and open flame applications.

eHs' proprietary hydrogen energy technology is available today to qualified partners in a wide variety of vertical and/or geographic markets worldwide, through joint development/ adaptation, distribution and production agreements.
