EJustice Solutions Record Management Systems Offers Free Integration With the Texas Law Enforcement Analysis Portal (LEAP)

ANN ARBOR, MI--(Marketwire - September 14, 2010) - EJustice Solutions is pleased to announce our alliance with the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) to provide an automated interface to the Law Enforcement Analysis Portal (LEAP) data sharing initiative. The interface between the two applications provides for the seamless flow of incident information into the LEAP system making the information available for cross jurisdictional information sharing and analysis of crime patterns.

The value of information sharing to law enforcement is critical to effectively solving and preventing crime. With funding and technical constraints many law enforcement agencies do not have the ability to standardize the electronic capture and sharing of information. Many criminals know that when they conduct their activities across jurisdictional boundaries, law enforcement oftentimes has a difficult time of identifying crime patterns and implementing measures to prevent similar criminal activities in the future.

The EJustice RMS LEAP interface helps to remedy that situation by providing traditional law enforcement officers with an affordable means to capture and share information. In addition to LEAP the EJustice RMS provides, as standard features, interfaces to other data sharing initiatives such as Texas Incident Based Reporting System (TIBRS) and Texas LEADRS DUI program.

Robert Batty, CEO of Forensic Logic, stated, "LEAP and EJustice Solutions have been working together for the past 3 years and have successfully integrated dozens of agencies to the LEAP system. We share the common objective of providing the information law enforcement professionals need to solve crimes more efficiently while at the same time increasing officer safety."

EJustice Online RMS requires only a computer with an internet connection. It provides affordable, anywhere, anytime access using an Internet connection and a standard industry web browser such as Internet Explorer. By using EJustice Online, each agency captures, exchanges and shares information easier and faster. Agencies can sign-up and begin accessing EJustice Online RMS in as little as 14 days and without purchasing new equipment, installing any software, dealing with license fees or having extensive training.

"We believe that effective data sharing will have a profound effect in arming police officers with the information they need to be more effective and efficient while at the same time helping to increase officer safety. Our product integration with prominent data sharing programs further demonstrates our commitment as a company to doing everything possible to promote data sharing programs in the state of Texas," said Dennis Blanchette, President and CEO of EJustice Solutions, LLC.

LEAP is administered by the NCTCOG and its operation is guided by the NCTCOG Executive Board-appointed Advisory Committee. The Advisory Committee assists with the planning, development of future functionality, and governance of the information sharing platform. The robust technology that powers the LEAP platform is provided by Forensic Logic, a California based company that specializes in Crime Analysis software. For more details, visit
