ekit Joins Lufthansa in "Virtual Pilot" Game

Winners Receive Two ekit Cell Phones Equipped With the ekit Travel Journal

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - September 16, 2008) - Ekit (www.ekit.com), the leading telecommunications provider to international travelers and the travel industry, is proud to announce its participation in the Lufthansa "GenerationFly Virtual Pilot" game. The game times players as they use their knowledge of world geography to "land" their plane in a designated European city. The game marks the kick-off of Lufthansa's GenFlyLounge, found at Generationfly.com.

Beginning in September and through November, there will be three winners chosen randomly from the top ten scores based on geographical accuracy. Each winner will receive two round-trip tickets on Lufthansa, a four-day BMW rental and from ekit, two Motorola PEBL U6 cell phones equipped with a Passport SIM card and $50 worth of talk time prepaid on each phone. The ekit phone and Passport SIM work in over 110 countries with the lowest rates and no ongoing commitment or contract. Winners also get to use the ekit Travel Journal included with their international phones, which automatically records their experience based on their location. Travelers can update and personalize their Journal anytime by sending text messages directly from their ekit phone. For all other Lufthansa travelers who'd like to check out ekit's products, please go to: www.lufthansa.ekit.com.

"GenerationFly guarantees the lowest Lufthansa student fares, while ekit provides customers with the lowest airtime rates -- making our partnership a perfect fit," said Florian Gmeiner, Product Manager, Online and Direct Sales for Lufthansa. "The Travel Journal is also a great bonus for our winners, as they'll be able to record every adventure they embark upon."

"We're thrilled to be a part of the GenFlyLounge launch and associate ourselves with a travel company who shares our philosophy of providing services at the lowest possible cost to our customers," said John Diamond, ekit CEO.

In the future, the ekit Travel Journal will integrate location information via the Yahoo! Fire Eagle platform from other location applications and import them into the Travel Journal. Travelers will also be able to export their location information and publish all or part of their Travel Journal on their favorite social networking sites, as well as upload photos from their cell phones, which can be automatically geo-tagged via sites like Flickr.
