Election of Pershimco's Directors

ROUYN NORANDA, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Sept. 21, 2007) - PERSHIMCO RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE:PRO) (FRANKFURT:BIZ) (hereinafter, "Pershimco" or the "Corporation"), is pleased to announce that following the shareholders vote at the annual and special meeting held on September 15, 2007, Pershimco' shareholders elected or re-elected Ali Abbas Ali Al Hazeem, Alain Bureau, Roger Bureau, Michael Curtis, Jacques Fortin, Jean Lafleur and Jean-Yves Laliberte. Belair/Deloitte & Touche were appointed auditors of the Corporation.

Shareholders also approved that the maximum number of common shares issuable pursuant to the Company stock option plan be set to 7,664,440 shares which will represent 20% of the issued and outstanding common shares on record for the September 15, 2007, annual meeting, as described in the management proxy circular dated August 20, 2007. Shares previously provided for issuance under the plan set on November 19, 2002, was 2,620,769 common shares as of that date, which have all been granted. The Company's stock option plan provides that the Board of Directors may from time to time, in its discretion, grant to directors, officers, employees and consultants of the Company, or any subsidiary, the option to purchase Common Shares. The whole is subject to the final approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
