Electors Can Register at the Polls

GATINEAU, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Oct. 15, 2015) -

Electors who are not registered can still vote in the October 19 federal election. They can register at their polling place on election day.

"Voters have a wide range of options to prove their identity and address at the polls," says Chief Electoral Officer Marc Mayrand. "They may use their driver's licence or a combination of pieces of ID. I encourage voters to check our website for the full list of accepted pieces of ID to ensure they have what they need to vote."
