Electro Energy Inc. to Present at the 25th Annual Space Power Workshop

On-Orbit History of Nickel Oxide Electrodes Presented

DANBURY, CT -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 25, 2007 -- Electro Energy Inc. (NASDAQ: EEEI), a leading provider of advanced battery technologies and associated systems, will present a review of Nickel Battery Systems used on U.S. Space missions at the 25th Annual Space Power Workshop to be held in Los Angeles, California, April 26, 2007.

Electro Energy has an extensive history of providing battery solutions for space applications, such as the international space station and numerous NASA and military satellite missions, and continues to be a leader in the advancement of battery technology. Dr. David Pickett, Electro Energy Senior Scientist, will present "Test and On-orbit History of Nickel Oxide Electrodes Manufactured at Electro Energy Inc." The paper is co-authored by David Lucero and Jeff Hayden and chronicles the various aspects of the U.S. Space missions, from the first space programs to the most recent manned space flights, providing a comprehensive review of Nickel Battery Systems used on those missions. The presentation provides information on the various manufacturing processes used to fabricate space qualified products as well as some lessons learned by Electro Energy in developing its battery solutions to meet the unique demands of the space program.

The Space Power Workshop, an annual conference sponsored by the Aerospace Corporation, is an unclassified forum. The Conference focuses on various elements of energy storage products to provide space power and will include discussions on energy conversion and power management. This year's theme is "Reliability and New Technology for Space Power" and information will be presented on new technologies and improving reliability in space power systems.
