Electro Energy to Exhibit at Advanced Automotive Battery Conference

DANBURY, CT--(Marketwire - May 13, 2008) - Electro Energy Inc. (NASDAQ: EEEI), a leading provider of advanced battery technologies and associated systems, today announced that Electro Energy will be exhibiting at the Advanced Automotive Battery Conference (AABC) from May 13-15 at the Tampa Convention Center, Florida. EEEI is also a co-sponsor of the event.

Electro Energy will highlight their flat wafer cell design for the nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) and Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) chemistries. The technology has been successfully demonstrated in various transportation applications, including hybrid electric vehicle (HEV), plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) and auxiliary power unit (APU) for trucking industry idling reduction. Representatives from top automotive companies will also tour the company's battery manufacturing facility in Gainesville, Florida.
