Electronic Recycling Association: Don't Trash Your
Computers and Electronics Edmonton, They Can Still be
Used

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - March 29, 2005) - Electronic Recycling
Association announces its depot program expansion into the city of
Edmonton and area. No longer do companies and individuals need to take
their electronic equipment to the EcoStations, and landfills, never to
be seen or used again.

Many items regularly disposed off by companies and individuals can be
used by disadvantaged communities, non profit organizations, elderly
homes, daycares, and many other similar institutions.

ERA is currently accepting old computers and electronics at its main
depot just opened a week ago at 11404 143 Street.

Many local retailers are being equipped with specially designed bins,
for collecting old computers and electronics. Places such as WestWorld,
Memory Express, BCOM, Macrotronics and many others are not accepting old
computers for donations and recycling. Complete list of depot locations
is at www.era.ca

Everyone is urged to please use this new system, as computer and
electronic equipment in our landfills does nobody any good. This program
ensures that items are carefully collected, and redeployed into the
community if possible. All unrepairable equipment is recycled with only
the certified recyclers.

For companies with large amounts of equipment, the ERA will send out a
crew of people to pickup equipment from offices throughout Edmonton.
